The Quranic Teachings

"Ar-Rahman. He it is Who has taught the Qur'an" [55:1-2]. "He bestows beneficence upon those who follow it" [6:155].

Mental Blindness

The real blindness is not the blindness of the eyes. The real blindness is the blindness of the heart [& mind] [22:46].

Can those who are blind in respect of the mind be equal to those who are endowed with mental perception? Would you not think and reflect? [6:50].

Nay! The blind of the mind and those who can perceive can never be equal. [35:19].

Enlightenments have come to you from your Lord. If any will be all eyes, it will be for his own good. If any would turn a blind eye, it will be for his own detriment [6:104].

Important!

"And do not follow (blindly) any information of which you have no direct knowledge. (Using your faculties of perception and conception, you must verify it for yourself). In the Court of your Lord, you will be held accountable for your hearing, sight, and the faculty of reasoning."[17:36]
