Do not spy on others

Do not spy on others iniquitously, in order to inquire or investigate into their private and personal affairs which they would like to conceal from you for reason of shame or pudency or the like

Do not be nosy or snoopy 

Do not pry into others’ personal matters 

Do not be offensively curious or inquisitive 

Do not make presumptuous inquiries in a meddlesome way

Important

And do not follow (blindly) any information of which you have no (direct) knowledge. (Using your faculties of perception and conception, you must verify it for yourself. (In the Court of your Lord,) you will be held accountable for your hearing, sight, and the faculty of reasoning."[17:36]
